Do & Don't When dealing with RUBBISH

There were many residents do not know how to use the refuse chamber in each floor. We hope that all residents will use the correct way to fasten the rubbish bag, to avoid difficulties faced by rubbish collector.

BICYCLE MANUFACTURED BY GOA????

Do you think the bicycle seat is wrongly installed? Do you think it is a defect in assembling the bicycle?
It is like the Bomba Emergency Button is wrongly installed in Desa Putra!

How about this one? The seat reversed but still wrongly installed. Will you agreed that this is an enhancement and it is under manufacturer's goodwill to "ENHANCE" it?

Somethings may be DANGEROUS!

This is the gate access to the planter pot beside basketball court, some the iron bar are broken and drop off. It may endanger Children (although the rules stated that Children below 12 years old need to be accompanied by adult however, no one seem to be following the rules).
The lamp pole beside this gate is also going to fall down, the nuts are loosen (some resident try to tighten the nuts last week). If it fall down then it will be dangerous to children playing in basketball court.

Finally - Basketball Ring & Net is up

From Lokman to Yunus to Kamaraj, finally it is up.
Many residents and JMC member give a thumb up for new guys (Jackson & Kamaraj) from Landserve. These two gentlemen are capable, responsible, and responsive to complaints and problems in Desa Putra. Really appreciate their professionalism. This ring and net was requested by resident in the morning and next morning it is up there for the residents.

Message from JMC Chairperson

Dear fellow Desa Putra owners and residents

We thank you for your feedback and comments on this blog over the past few weeks.

The topics covered in the blog range from security (lack of it), rubbish collection (or lack of it) to hanging clothes on the lanai and related issues like the KL Draft Plan. The root problem is the people engaged to oversee the management of these issues are not really up to par to the job specifications. As such, it has been a real frustrating and difficult time for us to push things into motion. Secondly, while this is not an issue, but it has an effect on the current situation we are in, the result of having the JMB just passed last year has pushed a lot of the managing agent to their very limits in manpower and resources. This unfortunately has directly affected our condo and our quality of life here.

Firstly, things are in motion to ensure it will not be the same. Within a month or slightly a month, we shall initiate change once we get our certificate in order.

Secondly, with the right people and team in place, we hope to clean up all the outstanding day to day issues which has been dragging on for a long period of time.

Thirdly, it takes two hands to clap. While most of you are concerned about these issues, there are also residents who has no problems disengaging the doors, throwing rubbish, dropping objects from their unit to the common area below, and so on. It will take some time before our community reflects a true sense of community among all the residents here.

We shall announce new developments here and in the notice board within this week. If you have any issues, please let us know directly too.

Thank you.

Rubbish Bugs in Desa Putra

This picture was taken on 7th June, 2008 in Block A, where some inconsiderate residents dump/throw rubbish here in the lift lobby in car park level. All rubbish suppose to be disposed to the big rubbish bins in individual floor. This small bin is meant for small rubbish like paper, cigarette bud, other small rubbish.

Hope that management will take immediate action to put up notice to reduce (probably cannot eliminate) these things from happening again and again.
