Dear fellow Desa Putra owners and residents
We thank you for your feedback and comments on this blog over the past few weeks.
The topics covered in the blog range from security (lack of it), rubbish collection (or lack of it) to hanging clothes on the lanai and related issues like the KL Draft Plan. The root problem is the people engaged to oversee the management of these issues are not really up to par to the job specifications. As such, it has been a real frustrating and difficult time for us to push things into motion. Secondly, while this is not an issue, but it has an effect on the current situation we are in, the result of having the JMB just passed last year has pushed a lot of the managing agent to their very limits in manpower and resources. This unfortunately has directly affected our condo and our quality of life here.
Firstly, things are in motion to ensure it will not be the same. Within a month or slightly a month, we shall initiate change once we get our certificate in order.
Secondly, with the right people and team in place, we hope to clean up all the outstanding day to day issues which has been dragging on for a long period of time.
Thirdly, it takes two hands to clap. While most of you are concerned about these issues, there are also residents who has no problems disengaging the doors, throwing rubbish, dropping objects from their unit to the common area below, and so on. It will take some time before our community reflects a true sense of community among all the residents here.
We shall announce new developments here and in the notice board within this week. If you have any issues, please let us know directly too.
Thank you.

Dear Mr Chairperson,
I would to thank you and all the JMB members for all the work done so far. It is sad to know that a well established developer would appoint a management company such as Landserve to manage Desa Putra. However I'll be staying here for nearly 6 months I noticed only a handful matters have been taken care by them. I think the top management have elect the wrong person to handle Desa Putra from Encik Lokman to Encik Yunus. Let me propose that a Resident Manager if possible his or her monthly salary paid by Landserve and this Resident Manager must be resident so that he or she can attend on matter arise with the help of JMB. I also noticed that some residents wanted to sell their unit due to the management company unable to keep Desa Putra maintain. Well I think I cannot stop them to do so. Not to mention certain residents who all their life have been staying in a landed property and now the have a chance to stay in Desa Putra but the mentality is still on landed property. I'm sorry to mention this but condo living is totally different to landed property living. I've been staying on numerous condo in KL and it takes time to really maintain a condo especially the condo is still new. In my opinion it takes 5 - 7 years to really maintain a condo from cleanliness to security and others matter. But if the management is unable to attend on matters such as cleanliness for example which JMB have been telling them to do so day after day, certain actions need to be taken care of. Finally lets everybody in Desa Putra lend a helping hand by keeping Desa Putra in good shape. Be stern on others but ensure you are right.
