Driving against traffic flow within Desa Putra!!!!! Many Inconsiderate Drivers here?

Mr.A said:-
I would add one more item for the guards to police:- noting (and acting on) traffic or drivers who contravene traffic rules within the complex. Yesterday as I was walking from my car to the lift, one car entered illegally at P4 basement parking (entered thru the exit) right in front a guard. He did nothing and walked passed the car. I stopped him and asked him to do something or at least take note of the number plate so we have record of those who regularly break the rules for future reference. Such acts are dangerous and must be stopped. I only see a few of us parked at P4 follow the rule by entering thru P3. The other 80-90% just go the wrong way all the time.

I couldn't agree more with what you said as I've been a witness of such 'careless attitude' ever since March 2007. Really hope that the guards who happen to be at P4 and witness such act to remind the driver that entering the parking via exit door is simply wrong and dangerous. For us residents to remind each other may be a bit difficult as it could become 'personal' and may be misinterpreted. Having said that, there are also cars from P3 exiting via P3 entrance which is more dangerous. So far, I've experienced nearly 10 incidents since I use P3 entrance to go down to P4 on a daily basis, 2 of them nearly resulted in accident. Something has to be done, and let's not wait until accidents actually happen. May I suggest that we put a notice that if an accident were to happen arising from a vehicle entering/existing the parking lot via the wrong way (either to another vehicle or person), the driver of the vehicle that enters/exits the parking lots via the wrong way shall be responsible and liable to pay for all damages suffered by the driver, passenger(s), the vehicle, the person(s) and common property, under whatever circumstances.

The notice should be put at all levels of parking

I agree...a visible no entry sign, or arrow on the opposite direction might work.

Also fines can be instigated as well.

the sign in each entry and exit point is very clear, people just don't care, and always take short cut.

If 'carrot' doesn't work, the 'stick' might!

Can I request for an illustration of the right way to go around the condo compound?

the building design it self is stupid.. the turning point from P3 to P4 is not turn friendly at all.. and why would they build 1 entrance when theres absolutely enough space to build two???

given that it's already build.. why can't we achieve something else.. like place a round mirror on the wall to avoid accident.. the main purpose here is to avoid accident isn't it.. not just those "YOU MUST FOLLOWE THE RULE" declaration huh??? cause if thats the case.. any car that the wheel touches the line and double line on by the road.... by the slope to B3.. by the roundabout wouldn've all been breaking the rule..

we're here not just to follow what ever the developers left.. they might not be good at all and practical.. we're also here to make it a better place.. thats why we put a sensor light on Ground floor near block a.. thats why we install the rain roof by the ticket touch.. thats why so many mirror is being installed on the slope all the way from ground floor to p4... (well if you can assure every one drive WITHIN thier line.. you don't need those rite? but bcause the sharp turn of the fail design it's difficult to follow.. SO? you have those mirror to assist and avoid accident)...

if majority of ppl thinks its OK to use the same entrance.. and if theres assistance to that ... its even more effective.. example???

well i dont have to drive all round in P3.. passing by all the places where i shoudln't have pass by.. possibly scatching ppls car.. or knocking down ppl.. just to park in P4.. and trust me.. a "frustrated having to go p3 all the way" driver gives more chances to be in an accident than a "carefully observe p4 entrance then go in" driver.
