In 1997, the world recession started off in Thailand. Yesterday, Thailand heading the list of tumbles with sharemarket down at 6.48%. Hopefully this cycle of recession will not be as bad as 1997.
Eddie, global recession is looming large. Europe and Asia would likely trend down together with Uncle Sam. There is a lot more space for Asian and European currencies to dip, with Yen as the only exception.
