Vandalism in Desa Putra
The good and gentle Malaysian/Residents are angry about the rude, naughty and selfish residents. In here, the vandalism were mostly done by children that were left un-attended by parents and some of them are below age of 3. They were left running around and playing in car park, near retention wall, ramp and drive way. They were not only endangered themselves but also other residents here.
When security guard went to confront them and talk to them, most of them do not understand (they know little English or Bahasa Malaysia).
This is a typical example that children throwing coin into the notice board pocket (inside the lift), and when they cannot take out the coin they torn down the whole transparent acrylic. This happened in Block C lift few days ago.

Could we get compensation from their parents?
Not sure if the children themselves can manage to tear down the acrylic.. or you mean their parents helped them?
Speaking no inglisi is not good, perhaps we need a translator somewhere in between..
We have to find a way to fix this...
i saw 4 arabs chidren running and playing with exercise equipment in our gym that day. i asked them to leave the gym but they refused. i scolded them but then they laughed at me.
as a caring Malaysian resident, i feel so iritating with their stubborn attitude and sad to see some of our facilities went down and obsolete. e.g. signboard, door knob at P2 Block C. to me the requirement to install the card access system to our gym is a must.
it is just matter of now or never.
Dear Mr Kama Azlan,
For other common areas in Desa Putra where the act of vandalism/misuse/accidental damage is recorded in the CCTV cameras, the Management will confront the person(s) who is responsible for the damages caused to seek for compensation.
Owners are actually responsible for the act of their tenants, visitors, invitees, workmen, contractors, friend, etc in Desa Putra.
However, as for the vandalism which had happened to the lift arcylic notice board inside Passenger Lift , Block C recently, the Management could not locate/identify the person(s) who was responsible for the damages. Thus, we could not seek for the compensation.
However, now, the Management is in the process of sourcing for proposals and quotations for the installation of CCTV cameras inside the lifts. The price may be costly, but we can at least compare and study the price to further find out if such method would be a feasible and cost effective way to minimize/reduce vandalism/damages inside the lifts in the future.
Thank you.
Rgds,
Brian

I saw the coin inside the acrylic board at our block, block "B" this day!! and I hope that we won't lose the board like what happen with block "C"'s board!!
Installing Cameras inside the elevators will be something nice and makes the place more secure!!

im interested in renting a unit in desa putra, we're students from dasein academy @ wangsa link/delima area.. :) let me knowww.. 0129585050
Hi All
Actually caring Malaysian owners shouldn't rent to others la if they cannot tolerate them!!! this is typical in Malaysia to always blame the foreigners for all problems happening here.
But when it comes to foreigners paying loads of money for units in Desa Putra that would have been rented at half the price they are rented it now, I don't see any caring Malaysian complaining about this.
This is not to deny that some of non-caring people are really foreigners HOWEVER this doesn't mean at all that caring Malaysians do not vandalize either in Desa Putra or else where.
Of course, I'll hear the other typical Malaysian slogan "this is my country and if u don't like it go back". I am just very surprised, if caring Malaysian do not like non-caring beings, you should all ask your govt not to allow foreigners into the country la as they are BAD.
No one would blame u for doing so. But to say welcome to the forigners or Selamat Datang or Malaysia My 2nd Home, then in reality you don't like them is like what hmmm, ya there is a word for it, i remembered, hypocrisy.
Finally, dear non-caring non-malaysian, please ask your kids to behave themselves, so that caring malaysians do not get offended...
goood day all
